Lawton 161 Secy. reported enquiry from Millwall F. C. & that he had asked them to make an offer, which would be considered. A. W. Fielding Secy. reported his visit to Preston & telephoned message by Mr. F. Howarth, that we could now play this man, owing to a decision made by the F. L. Management Committee on the 8th inst. It was noted that Mr. Howarth had stated that the player's appeal was too late under F. A. Rules. J. S. D. Rawlings 163 Reported that Millwall wanted £2,000 for this player's Transfer Fee. Decided to await a situation which might arise through their desire for Lawton. F. A.
