REPORT OF MEETING OF ESTATE COMMITTEE. March 22, 1945.

The general work needed at the ground
was considered, and it was decided that the application for a
Maintenance Licence up to £1,000 annually, should be made
immediately. It was noted that we had not yet received the
estimate for the painting of the Goodison Rd. Facade and 64
turnstiles.
CAR PARK. It was agreed that the difficulties of obtain-
ing suitable accommodation for this purpose at present, were too
great to make it practical.
JUNIOR GROUNDS. The possibility of acquiring Bellefield, Sand-
forth Rd., with its accommodation for 4 teams, was considered,
and agreed that this was highly desirable. The rent plus rates
would amount to £350 annually. Secretary instructed to make
enquiries with a view to a long lease being obtained.
215, WALTON LANE. This was offered by Mrs Rigby of Maghull,
at £800. Agreed in view of price, that no negotiations be
entered into.
USE OF GROUND. This was granted to the same organizations
as last year.
GENERAL AUTHORITY FOR EXPEDITING WORK. The Chairman was author-
ised to act upon his initiative for urgent work, up to the
maximum of £20.
