92 [Meeting held at Exchange Hotel, L'pool, Tuesday, Jany. 16, 1945] Present:- Messrs W. C. Gibbins (Chair), All other Directors & Secy. Minutes of Meeting of the 9th inst., were read & confirmed. Finance It was reported that the Balance of Bank a/c was a Debit one of £23388.3.8. Match v Secy. reported the probable XI available Stockport C. for this match, which was approved. Following Directors hoped to travel:- Messrs W. C. Gibbins, E. Green, G. Evans, T. Percy, R. R. Turnbull & R. E. Searle. Insurance of Further proposals were read from Players Messrs W. R. Ponting of London & after due consideration it was agreed that we dis- continue the payment of premiums for the Insurance of Players when playing in other matches than Football Association & Football League fixtures. Secy. was instructed to write the Football Association, suggesting that the appropriate Committee consider increasing the value of players for reimbursement to their respective Clubs in the event of Death or Permanent Total Disablement due to Accident in Representative matches. Also suggesting that consideration be given to the Clubs, in the event of a Player's Loss of Services due to other accidents whilst not engaged by his Club. South L'pool F. C.
