Minutes of Meeting of the 3rd inst. were
read & confirmed.
Finance Cheques were signed for:-

Match v Bolton Directors who expected to travel to
Bolton were:- Messrs W. C. Gibbins, E. Green, G. Evans,
T. Percy, W. R. Williams, R. R. Turnbull & R. E. Searle.
Secy. reported that T. G. Jones was
likely to be posted to Kirkwall in the Orkneys,
& that the team would be without him for this
match. It was decided that he be left to
make the best XI of the players available.
N. E. Players It was noted that North Shields
F. C., would endeavour to sign Hedley &
Sloan as professionals, to be transferred to
us at the earliest opportunity & that the
Club accepted the suggestion made to
give them a Donation of Two Hundred
Pounds for their help & service in this
matter.
Insurance of It was agreed that the Secy. make
Players arrangements with the firm of W. R. Ponting, Ltd.
of Oxford St, London, to insure our players
when playing in matches outside the aegis
of the Football Association or Football League.
