Minutes of Meeting of October 24th were
read & confirmed.
Finance Bank Balance £25,147.14.10 Dr.
W. C. Cuff The Board noted with pleasure, The Honour
conferred upon this Director, of Life Membership of
the Football League & the Sec'y was instructed to
send a letter suitably conveying his colleagues good wishes.
Matches v M/c City Sec'y detailed possible players to take
part in this match & it was noted that Peters
& Warinwright had now been posted distantly.
London A. G. M. Representatives present at these Meetings,
reported the decisions arrived at, whereby neither
of our proposals had been fully successful.
London Xpenses. It was agreed that Directors on the
Company's business when in London, should receive a
subsistence allowance of Two Guineas per night instead
of the existing arrangement of Thirty shillings per
night. This retrospective from Oct. 27,1944.
Murray (Carnoustie) Mr. E. Green reported that this R. H.
(Panmure) was an excellent player when in possession, but
did little to fall back in defence. He was of sturdy
build.
After hearing of what had been done
to safeguard any interest we might have in his
future, it was agreed that Mr. Green if possible, &
the Secretary, after full enquiries, should negotiate
to secure his signature.
