Minutes of Meeting of the 3rd inst. were
read & confirmed.
Finance Minutes of Meeting of Finance
Committee, held earlier in the day, were read &
confirmed.
Bank Balance £26,434.9.3 Dr.
F. Sweeney Secy. reported that this player had been
reported missing at Arnhem on Sept. 25th. A
letter had been sent to his parents expressing
the Board's regret.
Match v Tranmere Secy. outlined the probable team for this
match.
Boyes It was reported that Mr. T. P. McMurray
Lowe had examined these players. Boyes had cartilage
trouble in the right knee & was to be operated on in
a weeks time. Lowe had been & rayed & there
would be a subsequent report.
T. Peters It was agreed that the Secretary open
negotiations with Doncaster Rovers regarding this
players transfer.
Wounded Soldiers Letter read from Army Welfare inviting
attendance at a Meeting of interested parties on
the 11th inst. The Chairman & Secy. were appointed
to attend along with Mr. R. E. Searle who had
received a personal invitation.
Reports re Players Mr. J. R. Thomson gave good reports of
Turnbull (C. F.) Dundee; Johnston (I. L.) & Gibson (R. B.)
Clyde, & Johnson (O. R.) Partick Thistle & Stockport.
