Minutes of Meeting of Sept. 5th & of
Finance Meeting held earlier were read & con-
firmed.
Bank Balance £25,556.16.0 Dr.
F. L. War Cup Pool Secy. reported that, acting on the re-action
response of the Clubs of the Football League to the
suggestion that outstanding Transfer Fees might
be cleared by utilising the past year's Cup Pool
results, the Football League Management Comee.
had decided that each Club should be paid the
amount that it was entitled to & that we had
now received our cheque for £410.10.1.
Scottish Players Mr. W. Birch reported that Govan &
Bogan (Hibs) had not played but that Goletty
(O.R. Clyde) had shewn good form.
Mr. J. R. Thomson reported that Steel
( I. R. Morton) & Julieson (C. F. Huddersfield) were of
the type that would suit the Club.
Fell (Gravesend Utd.) Secy. reported that Capt. J. L. Dodd,
(Northern Nomads) had given exceptionally good
reports of this 21 year old 5'9" O. R. who was a
draughtsman. Mr. G. Evans offered to watch the
player on October 28, if his team were engaged.
Lowe & T. G. Jones It was agreed that these players
be sent to Mr. T. P. McMurray for opinions
on their fitness.
