Match v Bury Secy. read letters from Bury F. C. & the
Sept. 16 F. A. It was agreed that we play this match
at Bury on Sept. 16, & assume that the F. A.
would make compensation in due course,
bearing out their Secretary's ideas of their feelings
in this matter & having regard to the desires
of the Home Office & the War Cabinet.
J. R. Thomson Mr. E. Green reported on the interview with
this player & it was agreed that he be offered an
engagement as Coach to the Professionals. The engage-
ment to start when he was free from Military
duties ; to be for the? W. C. G. period of 5 years;
W. C. G.
& to carry with it a salary of £500 per year.
A. E. Stevenson Letter read from Irish F. A. requesting
this players services for Sept. 9. This was
