Letter was read from Mr. W. R. Williams, expressing his regret for non-attendance, due to his present indisposition, Secy. was instructed to convey to Mr. Williams, the good wishes of his colleagues a speedy return. Minutes of Meeting of the 8th inst., were read & confirmed. 205, Walton Lane Secy. reported that the Company's Solicitors were now treating with the conveyance of this property at the agreed price of £550. W. Lowe The slow progress of this player's recovery was reported & it was agreed that the Secy. attend Mr. W. S. Diggle on March 1st, & discuss the possibilities then arising. Goodison Rd. Wall The visits of Messrs Tyson's, A. Leitch & City Surveyor's representative, were reported. As a result of these, authority had been issued by the Ministry of Supply for work to be carried out to a maximum figure of £600, & the Contractors had now started the job. Players Benefits It was agreed that these be discharged so far as desirable & practicable up to Sept. 3, 1939 & the Secy. was instructed to get out the essential details for the consideration of the Board at their next Meeting. Team Prospects The Board approved a suggestion that L. Wootton be played in the 1st team v Tranmere Rovers on the 26th inst.
