Mercer This player's reaction to his selection at outside - right for the match v L'pool on Jany. 29, was reported & his letter of the 25th Jany., to the Secy., was read & noted. Goodison Rd. Wall Messrs W. R. Williams & G. Evans reported their visit to see the South End of this wall abutting on the road, following the report & suggestions of Messrs Tyson's Ltd., & that they had instructed the Secy. to take certain immediate action. As a result of this action, the City Surveyor's Dept., had visited the ground, & had authorised an immediate start being made by the Contractors' towards making the structure safe. Mr. A. R.
