Searle, C. C., & Secy. Minutes of Meeting of the 11th inst., were read & confirmed. Team Prospects Secy. outlined the possible players available for the match v Liverpool on the 29th inst., & it was agreed that the half back line of Grant, T. G. Jones & Watson remain unchanged if possible. C. Tatters It was reported that this player had fractured his ankle & would not be out of plaster for at least 6 weeks. It was agreed that we offer him a professional engagement, should he be prepared to accept same. W. Birkett Secy. was also instructed to obtain the (professional) signature of this player on professional forms, if possible. Guests It was agreed that in addition to His Grace the Archbishop & the Lord Mayor, invitations be extended to His Grace the Lord Bishop & a party of (American) Officers & Men of the U. S. A. Army, to attend our game on the 29th inst., & that the Secy. make the extra catering arrangements necessary. Next Meeting Tuesday, Feby. 8, Exchange Hotel, 4.45 pm. Finance Meeting then followed.
