H. Jones Decided, after hearing details of what had been done to date to benefit this player, that Secy. enquire as to the most convenient method of giving assistance. G. Smith (Hibs) Secy. reported that the Club had been non-committal in their conversations over this player, but had inferred that £10,000 would be a small fee for transfer. It was agreed that the matter be dropped pro tem. Letters of Thanks These were read from Duke of Gloucester's Red Cross & St. John Fund; Army Football Association; Quarter Master General to the Forces; R. Parker & Mrs. S. A. Roberts. Army F. A. Match The final amounts raised were reported to be £6406.11.6 from the gate & £142.7.0 from sale of Programmes. Chorley F. C. Circular letter from this Club was read appealing for financial assistance, following a decision against them in the Law Courts. Secy. was instructed to enquire what other Clubs were doing. L'pool Aged Poor It was agreed that Three Guineas be (Dinner & Relief Fund) donated to this Fund. Transfer of Shares The following transfer by request of the Administrator, coupled with Indemnity for Loss of Script, was approved :- Transfer shares Nod. 8 to 10 to Arthur Edwin Paul. New Script do 1420 to 1422 to Admin Albert Edwd. Paul.
