Hogg (Celtic)		Mr. E. Green reported that this R. B. was 23; a
		good player; & well worth consideration.

Rookes (Bradford City)	Secy. gave a very good report of this 18½
		year old F. B. who was over 5'10", & well built.

Turner (Charlton)	Mr. J. Fare gave an excellent report of this F. B.

Carabine (3rd Lanark)	Mr. Cochrans letter stated that this F. B. had
		been unable to play & that Coskie, against a weakened de-
		fence, had shone to a large extent.

Turner (Hartlepools)	Mr. W. Laine was not enthusiastic
		about this player's (L. B.) ability.

North Shield's players	He spoke well of Thompson (C. H.) who
		was 20, & 5'10½"., but thought little of Houghton (R. B.)
		who did not appear to be as good as Muse.

Smith (Millwall)	Mr. J. H. Ford was not impressed by this R. B.

Swansea Players		Mr. W. J. Wallace gave very good reports of
		Wright (L. B.) 11st & 5'10" & G. Edwards (O. L.) 10st & 5'8".

Smith (Rotherham)	Mr. F. W. Lake & Mr. R. Bentham gave fairly good
		reports of this I. L., who was 23, 5'10" & 11 st. The
		latter strongly recommended Taylor (L. B.) of Burton Town,
		who was 20, 5'9½" & 11 st. He showed every attribute.

Frewtree (Sutton Utd.)	Mr. H. Lyon was not impressed in the
		least, by this goalkeeper. He wrote well of Waine, (G.) of Haydock C. & B.

Unavailable Players	Sec'y. reported that Barron (Doncaster);
		Carey & Worrall (M/c United) & Roxburgh (Blackpool)
		were not for transfer.

Conway St. Schools	It was decided that this Central School
		be allowed & admission tickets for our match v.
		Blackpool on the 15th Jan'y.

Hermans Kath		Letter read from this German F. A. goal-
		keeper, & it was agreed that he be granted permission
		to follow our training system for one month.
