Johnson (Stoke) Mr. W. C. Cuff gave a poor report of this O. L.
Pope (Exeter) Mr. E. Green was very disappointed with this
I. L. who was 21. Talbot (I. L.) Cardiff, had shaped fairly well.
Bury Players Mr. W. C. Gibbins gave very good reports of
Gorman (R. B.), Whitfield (L. H.) & Kilshaw (O. R.)
Toll (Burnley) Mr. W. C. Gibbins & Secy. were agreed that
this player did not appear to be of any use to us.
Frewtree (Sutton) Mr. J. Fare was very much impressed by this
goalkeeper, who was 18, 5'10" & 10½ st.
McNee (Hamilton) Mr. R. R. Cochran only giving a fair
report of this O. L. it was agreed that interest be abandoned.
Lane & Wright (Southend) Mr. W. J. Wallace sent a poor report of
the former but a good report of the latter.
Wood (W. B. A.) Mr. J. H. Ford was not impressed by this O. L.
Rodger (M/c City) Letter read that this player appeared
to be an O. L. & nothing else.
Betts (Scunthorpe) Mr. L. Deary reported that this I. F.
was extremely promising. He was 16. 5'7" & 9 st. Banner,
L. B. (Doncaster) was 'one in the making' in Mr. Deary's opinion.
