Oldham v Carlisle	Mr. W. C. Gibbins was disappointed with
		Blackshaw (Oldham) & did not think McDougall (Carlisle L. B.)
		was class enough for us, altho'. he was a fine big fellow.

Rodger (M/c Utd.)	Mr. T. Percy reported that he saw nothing
		in this player as an I. L. that would look good to us. He
		would like to see him at O. L. though.

Cattin (Wed'y.)		Mr. T. Fleetwood gave a poor report of
		this L. B. & stated that he preferred Cox (Shef. Utd.).

Dryden (Bristol C.)	From available information it was
		decided not to take any further interest in this O. L.

Cox (S'field Utd.)	Dr. E. Hughes report of this L. B. was
		read. He did not recommend but preferred Hooper
		the R. B. Letter read from Club that they were not pre-
		pared to part.

Hulbert (Bury)		Mr. H. Lyon gave a poor report of this
		O. L. but a very impressive one of Gorman (R. B.) of the same team.

Barkas (Halifax)	Mr. E. Cooper was not enamoured of
		this I. L. who was 25. His stamina appeared doubtful.

Lane (Southend)		Mr. E. Burgon's letter read in which
		he stated that this O. L. was very promising.

McNee (Hamilton)	Mr. R. R. Cochran gave a further bad
		report of this O. L.

Saunders G. E.		Secy. reported that this Amateur had
		not yet accepted our offer of professional terms.

C. L. Team		Mr. W. C. Cuff reported that Dean would
		be the C. F. in the match at Newcastle on the 13th inst.

Band			It was decided that for the present
		in the case of bad weather, the Cheshire Lines Band
		be accommodated in the new.

Brine Baths		It was agreed that we accept the
		offer of the Northwich U. D. C. to use their baths.

Donation		Sec'y. was instructed to purchase
				d
		8 tickets at 2/6 each for the Annual Charity Concert on
		behalf of the Discharged Prisoner's Aid Society.
