Halifax Town was very good indeed. Prothers (Rochdale) Mr. W. Laine gave a fairly good verdict of this O. L. who had played on the opposite wing. Scottish players Mr. R. R. Cochran gave an excellent report of Black, I. L. of Hearts, but a further poor report of McNee. Robinson (Wedy.) Secy. reported that the Club would part with this player for £9,500. No action taken.
