that neither of these players would be of use to us.
North Eastern Players Mr. W. Laine gave a good report of Coulson (G)
& Gibbons (I. L.) of Willington but a moderate one of Nelson (L. B.)
Mr. H. R. Pickering was only impressed by the possibilities
of Gibbons.
Sibley (Bournemouth) Mr. T. Fleetwood was not favorable in
his opinion of this R. B.
McNee (Hamilton) Mr. R. R. Cochran again gave a poor report
of this O. L.
Smith (Rotherham) Mr. H. Lyon thought this I. L. was very
useful, but was very impressed by Protheroe (O. L.) of
Rochdale.

Irish F. A. It was agreed that we release Cook &
Stevenson for selection v England if desired on the 23rd inst.
Blyth Spartans F. C. It was also agreed that we write off
the debt of £200 owing by this Club, on condition
that they renew their obligation to give us the first
opportunity of securing any of their players at a
fee of £200.
Waterloo & Dist. Hospital. (15) Decided that a Donation of Three Guineas
be granted to this Institution.
C. L. Match v Stoke C. Agreed, that subject to the consent of the
C. L., the match scheduled to take place at Stoke on
19th Mch. 1938, be brought forward to March 17th 1938.
Coulter (15) Enquiries were reported from Grimsby Town
Middlesbro' & Bolton Wanderers F. C.'s.
Players Wages It was agreed that permission be re-
quested of the F. L. to pay Lawton £7 per week as his
recognised wage; that T. G. Jones' wages be increased to £6
per week; & that Hullett's wage be unaltered, but that he
be given a free transfer, if any Club desire his services.
