Minutes of Meeting of the 20th Ultimo were read & confirmed. Finance - The Bank Balance was reported to be £21,608.10.10 Dr. Sea Cadet Corps Dr. Baxter read a letter of thanks that he had received from Lt. Com. R. T. Wilcox. Football League Circular from this organisation was read, detailing suggestions for the Transition & Post War periods. Sec'y was instructed to supply each Director with a copy before the Next Meeting, when it could receive further consideration. Transfer of Shares Following transfer of Shares was approved. Shares Nod. 2160 to 2162 from W. R. Lloyd to R. R. Turnbull do 2163 to 2165 do Xors. J. E. Lloyd to do. L'pool Cup Sec'y was instructed to make further efforts to persuade Liverpool F.C. to play the second leg of this Cup Final. J. V. Humphreys Sec'y reported that this player had turned professional. M. Hill Consideration was given to the transfer of this player to Tranmere Rovers for £100, but no decision was arrived at. Secretary It was unanimously agreed that in view of the livelier prospects of the business side of the Company, the Secretary be paid his full pre-war salary should he be able to secure release from Messrs F. H. Porter & return to full time employment at the Club. In coming to this decision, the Board had in mind the state of this officials' health. Next Meeting Tuesday, May 18, 5 p.m. Goodison Park.
