[Meeting held at Exchange Hotel,
Liverpool, Tuesday, April 6, 1943]
Present:- Messrs W. C. Gibbins (Chair), E. Green, Dr. C. S. Baxter,
G. Evans, W. R. Williams, R. E. Searle & Sec'y.
Secy. reported that Mr. R. R. Turnbull would
be unable to attend, owing to business calls.
Minutes Minutes of Meeting of March 23, were read
& confirmed.
Finance Cheque was signed for Schedule "A"
Income Tax for £1779.18.10.
Bank Balance £22,300.4.8 Dr.
Charity Matches It was agreed that the promotion of
these on behalf of the Aid to China & British Red
Cross Society be supported, by allowing the ground
to be used for Football & Baseball Matches.
F.A. of Wales Letter from Mr. E. Robbins was read
re match on April 17 at Rhyl. It was agreed that
the Secy. convey to Mr. Robbins our views on this matter
with regard to players released & fees to be paid.
Approval was also granted to the acquaintance of
the Football League with the terms of the match.
Cossack Riders Secy. instructed to make enquiries re the
suggestion of a riding display on the ground during the
summer & report to the Board on the 10th inst.
Team Selection It was agreed that Lowe be given a game
at outside right on the 10th inst.
Next Meeting Tuesday, April 20, at 5 p.m. at Xchange Hotel.
