[Minutes of Meeting held at Goodison Park
Liverpool, Tuesday, July 22, 1941.]
Present:- Messrs W. C. Gibbins (Chair), E. Green, Dr. C. S. Baxter,
G. Evans, W. R. Williams & Sec'y.
Minutes of Meetings of the 11th July,
1941, were read & confirmed.
Insurance It was agreed that the Fire Insurance
Cover on the Stands & Buildings Policy be increased from
£75,000 to £100,000.
Chairman Mr. W. C. Gibbins was unanimously
re-elected as Chairman & in thanking his
colleagues for the honour, Mr. Gibbins mentioned
that he would have served 21 years as a
Director on the 27th August, 1941.
Sub Committees These were appointed en bloc as
last year, viz:-
Finance:- Messrs A. Coffey, W. C. Gibbins, T. Percy & A. Gates.
Ground:- Messrs E. Green, G. Evans, W. R. Williams.
Quorum It was agreed that three form a
quorum.
Watson This player was reported to have had
his operation & to be progressing satisfactorily.
Lancs. Junior Cup It was agreed that we enter a team in
this competition.
Indemnity Application from Mr. John S. Guthrie
for issue of new script against his indem-
nity, was granted.
Five a side It was agreed to take part in a Competition
for the Lord Mayor's War Fund at Anfield on August 23rd.
Next Meeting Left to Chairman to decide.
