				[Meeting of Sub. Committee, Messrs
				Chairman & W. R. Williams, appointed
				by the Board to interview Messrs Hart
				& Pickering with regard to certain
				Shortages in accounts.]

Discrepancies		Mr. Hart was interviewed on Saturday
		11th November, 1939.
			The Chairman outlined the report that
		the Secretary had submitted to the Board, the
		details of shortages being as follows:-
			Petty Cash			£10.6.7
			Mascot Fund			£ 1.0.0
			Season Tickets			£10.5.9
			Programme Petty Cash		£12.8.6

							£34.0.10
							________

			Also that the Sec'y. had interviewed Mr. Hart
		regarding these shortages & that Mr. Hart had declared
		himself responsible for two shortages, namely, the
		Petty Cash & Programme Petty Cash.
			In reply, Mr. Hart agreed that he
		was responsible for those two accounts, but while
		he could not explain the full shortage, he stated
		that he had taken £7 (Seven pounds) from the Programme
		Petty Cash account, which he had not replaced.

			Mr. Pickering was interviewed on Sunday,
		the 12th November, 1939.

			He satisfied Committee that he
		did not owe the Club any money. The Committee
		felt assured by his general demeanour & answers
		to all questions, that his hands were clean
		in this matter.
