Bank Balance £21,810.8.2 Dr.
Accounts & Mr. H. W. Bowler attended & presented the
Balance Sheet. Statement of Accounts for the year ending 6th May, 1939,
& it was resolved that :-
The amount due from Sundry Debtors
be valued for the purpose of the B/S. at £47.9.0.
A Depreciation of 10% be written off
all Stands, Hoardings & Erections, amounting to
£5193.17.1 & that the amount of £223.9.7 standing
as the present value of the Marconiphone Equipment,
be written off in full.
The Amount expended on Clothing & Stores
be written off the Income & Expenditure a/c.
The Statement of A/cs; Profit & Loss A/c.
& B/S be approved.
A Dividend of 7½% (less Income Tax)
on the Paid - up Capital of the Company, be recommended.
A. G. M. It was decided that the Annual
General Meeting of the Company be held at the
Law Association Rooms, Thursday, 29th June, 1939
at 7.30 pm.
