of this young player who was about 5' 10" & 11½ st.
Sweeney (Witton) Mr. H. Hart gave a poor report of
this O. R.
Brocklebank (Burnley) Mr. R. Bentham gave a moderate report
of this player, but a very good one of McMahon (C. F.)
Barlow (I. L.) of Wolves & Taylor A, O. R. of Burnley.
Samuel (Barrow) Mr. E. Cooper gave a poor report of
this O. R.
Trainer & Smirke Mr. E. G. Burgon gave further good
(Southend) reports of these players C. F. & O. R.
Hunter (Larkhall Mr. R. R. Cochran reported that he had

engagement, it was agreed to offer him £2 per
week, he to carry on at his occupation.
Trentham (163) It was agreed that we offer this
player £6 per week as a full- time professional.
T. L. Letter The Chairman reported that the Foot-
ball League had agreed that his letter to Mr. F. C.
Buckley on the lines suggested by them, would
meet the situation & that he had complied with
their request.
