Grundy (Newcastle) Mr. E. Cooper definitely reported on
favourably of this I. F.
Jones (3rd Lanark) Mr. R. R. Cochran reported that this
player had played well according to Neil Dewar's
account.
F. A. Letters The Board agreed to do what was
possible to aid efforts to hold a Physical
{Important}
Fitness display prior to one of our League
or F. A. Cup matches.
They also agreed to meet the
Swedish F. A. deputation in London, on or about
the 26th inst., to discuss the possibility of a
tour there in May, 1939.
Players Wages It was agreed that Greenhalgh,
Jones T. G., & Bentham be paid £8 per week to
May 6, 1939, or until the Board decide
otherwise.
F. A. of Wales Permission was granted to this
Association to utilise T. G. Jones for their
match v England on the 22nd inst., if re-
quired.
Southend Utd. F. C. A further letter from this Club re-
questing reconsideration of our decision of the 13th
Sept., was carefully considered, but it was agreed
to adhere to the original decision.
