Reports of Players Clark (I. R. West Brom. A). Mr. W. C. Gibbins
was not pleased with this player on this day's display.
Pearson (M/c Utd.). Mr. T. Percy could
not recommend this I. L. who was lifeless & easily brushed aside.
Thompson (Wolves). Mr. W. R. Williams
reported that this I. L. was well built & useful. He was
about 24, & was a great worker, whilst distributing
the ball well.
Todd (Glentoran). The consensus of
reports by Messrs G. Evans, H. Hart, R. Bentham & Sec'y
of this O. R. were very favorable.
Jones (3rd Lanark). Mr. H. Hart was
unimpressed by this I. L. & Mr. R. R. Cochran gave
further mixed reports.
McCrindle (Partick T.). Mr. Hart stated
that this I. L. was in his first season, appeared to
have a good future, & was of the Stevenson type.
He was again not impressed by Kilshaw (Bury)
although he was the ultimate cause of his side's win.
Blair (Blackpool). Mr. T. Fleetwood
thought this player was too selfish.
Martin (Bradford). Messrs E. G. Burgon
& R. Bentham gave good reports of this I. R. who was
about 21, 5'6" & 10½ st.
Mr. E. Cooper was not impressed by
Ainsworth or Frost (New Brighton).
Grundy (Newcastle). Mr. W. Laine gave
a good report of this I. L.
J. Fare It was agreed to discontinue this
employee's engagement & to pay him £3 per week
during the pleasure of the Board.
H. Hart This employee's wages was
raised to £6/10/- per week.
