White (B'ham) Mr. T. Fleetwood could not recommend
this O. R. nor did he speak any more favourably
of Watmough (Preston N. E.).
Thompson (I. R. Wolves) Mr. H. Hart stated that this player
had appeared at O. R. but looked to be more
suited to an inside position. He was 5'9" & strongly
built, & looked good.
Pearson (M/c Utd.) Mr. Hart gave varied reports of this I. L.
& Mr. R. Bentham gave him a confident recommend-
ation as a player of the future. He was 19,
5'8" & 10½ st.
Jones (3rd Lanark) Mr. R. R. Cochran gave further mixed
reports of this player, & thought he would be worth
getting at from £1500 to £2,000.
Boyle (Rotherham) Mr. W. Laine did not recommend this
