[Emergency Meeting held at Goodison
Park, Liverpool, 7th July, 1938]
Present:- Messrs E. Green (Chair), A. Coffey, W. C. Gibbins,
G. Evans, W. R. Williams & Secy.
Mr. E. Baxter The Chairman referred to the loss
sustained by Dr. C. S. Baxter by the loss of his mother,
& the Secretary was instructed to write to Dr. Baxter,
conveying the sympathy of his Co-Directors.
Director's Room It was agreed that this was desir-
able & Mr. Leitch's suggestion to utilise part of the
existing Ladies Room, was accepted. It was
left to the Chairman to meet the Architect & if
a reasonable price could be quoted, to have the
work proceeded with, to enable completion
by the opening of the New Season.
Football Pools A. circular letter dated 4th July, 1938,
from Mr. W. J. Harrop, of Liverpool F. C., was read & it
was agreed that the Secretary write to the
Football League to the effect that if the represent-
ations contained their were correct, we supported
them.
Tranmere Rovers F. C. Mr. W. C. Gibbins was appointed to
represent our Club at a Banquet to be held on
28th July.
