Sanders (Chester) Mr. E. Green stated that this I. L. was fairly prom-
ising, & suggested that Mr. J. Fare should see him again.
Connolly (Newcastle) Mr. Coffey & Sec'y were agreed that this I. L. player was
of no use to us, & that Pearson O. L. had played well.
Roberts (Bolton) Mr. W. C. Gibbins thought this I. R. should be
seen again & Mr. H. Hart stated he had a very
poor game, upon the occasion when he watched him.
Leighton (N'castle) Mr. Hart through this player poor at I. R.
& not as good as Bentham in the R. H. position.
Pope (Exeter) Mr. W. J. Wallase gave a poor report of this
player.
Muse (Twyzel C.) Mr. W. Laine reported fairly well of this
junior, who was registered with us.
W. Laine It was agreed to renew this Scout's
engagement for next year at £2 per weeks.
P. Lovett Sec'y was instructed to offer £3 per week
to May 6th 1939, to this goalkeeper.
Ireland v Wales Following Directors signified their intent-
ion to attend at Belfast:- Messrs W. C. Cuff, A. Coffey, W. C. Gibbins & G. Evans.
South L'pool F.C. Letter read signifying this Club's intention
to apply for entry to the Football League & asking for
support. No action was taken for the time being.
