Donation Five pounds was granted to St. James
Old Boys A.F.C. in respect of G. Saunders & Twenty
Guineas to the St. John Ambulance Brigade.
Use of Ground This was granted to the West
Lancashire Association of the Territorial Army,
the L'pool Wedy. League & the Catholic Boys
Association.
Letters of Thanks These were read from Mr. A. D. Strath-
dee & the League of Welldoers.
Players on Transfer Lists read from Aston Villa, Derby
County & West Bromwich Albion F.C.'s
W. R. Dean Mr. E. Green reported a request from
Liverpool F.C. per Mr. W. H. Cartwright for the transfer
of this player. It was agreed not to part with him
to a Club in this City.
Vacancy on Board In view of the circumstances at the
present time, it was resolved to Co-opt two gen-
tlemen to serve on the Board, & to fill the
vacancies at once.
The following names were nominated
Messrs Alderman A., Gates J. P., R. R. Turnbull & W. R. Williams.
On a ballot being taken, the Chairman
declared this to be in favor of Messrs Gates & Turnbull &
was asked to invite these gentlemen to accept office;
Mr. Turnbull to take the vacancy created by Mr. H. Banks
death, & Alderman Gates that vacancy due to Mr. J. Sharp's
demise.
Their selection for invitation was
unanimously approved.
