Greenhalgh (N. B.) Mr. J. Fare gave a good report of him but thought
he shaped more like a right back. The Club had had an
offer of £1,500 (1,500) for him. It was subsequently agreed
that Mr. H. Hart see him on Saturday, & following his
report, the Directors at home decide as to whether they
negotiate for him; in the meantime, the Sec'y ascer-
taining from the Club, the price that they required.
Leeds Utd. Players Mr. W. Laine gave a very good report of Goldberg
(R. B.) aged 20, & fairly good reports of Cochrane (O. R.)
& Francis (I. L.).
Kinghorn (Queen's Park) Letter read from the Club, that their player
intended to remain an Amateur.
S. Smith (Bristol Rovers) Mr. W. J. Wallace gave a fair report of this
player, but thought it more than likely that the man
recommended was one who had been transferred to
Swindon Town.
Empire Exhibition Sec'y read letters received from the
Tournament Football Association & the Football League, agreeing
to our participation in this tournament, provided that
none of the Rules or Regulations of the parent bodies,
were contravened.
Use of Ground Provided that the ground was available
on 12th February, it was agreed to loan it to the
Lancashire Football Association.
Programme Office Sec'y submitted quotations for proposed
Office, but it was agreed that the Ground Committee
first consider the site.
Players on Transfer Lists were read from Burnley & Sheffield
United F.C.'s, but no action was taken.

Mr. R. R. Cochran do Caskie (St. Johnstone).
