Kelly Wages & Bonus £ 309. 7.2 Bank Balance £16,273.3.6 Dr. Results Reports were given of the matches:- v Blackpool 3-1; v Blackpool Res. 0-3; v South L'pool 2-1. Catlin (Sheff. W.) Mr. H. Hart reported that Catlin had played & Smith (Millwall) well in the 1st half, but badly in the 2nd. He also stated that Smith (O. L.) of Millwall had shewn good combin- ing ideas, with bad final crossing of a ball & he did not recommend him. Dr. & Trainer's Reports These were presented to the Meeting. Team Selection Following team was chosen :- v Sunderland F.A. Cup Morton, Cook, Jones J. E., Britton, Jones T. G., Mercer, Gillick, Cunliffe, Lawton, Stevenson, Trentham. Res. Watson. Redwood & Rowley Mr. A. Coffey strongly recommended the (M/c Utd.) former, but although he thought the latter looked good, he had his doubts about his mental steadiness. He did not recommend Greenhalgh, L. B. of New Brighton.
