Hall (Spurs)		Letter read that the Club were not prepared
		to consider parting with this player just now. Sec'y
		reported that Mr. E. Burgon had compared Cunliffe
		with Hall, & preferred the former.

Egan (Aldershot)	Letter read from Mr. T. G. Bromilow, wherein
		he could not recommend this I. L.

Greenhalgh (N. B.)	Sec'y reported that Dr. T. Marttew
		had informed him that we could have the first
		opportunity of securing this player's services, after
		the club's exit from the F.A. Cup Competition.

Caskie & Kinghorn	Mr. R. R. Cochran reported well of these
		players & it was agreed that the Sec'y write to the
		Queen's Park Club asking what the possibilities of
		securing this player were.

Rowley & Redwood	Mr. W. Laine gave very good reports
		of these Manchester United players.

Leeds United Players	Mr. R. R. Bentham gave the following
		verdicts:- Hargreaves (O. L.) 22, 5'9" & 11 st., not 1st team
		standard, but a little above average C. L.; Holley (C. H.)
		wonderful; Goldberg (R. B.), best full back & worth
		watching again; & Ainsley (I. R.) outstanding & worthy of
		a 1st team place. He also thought Gardner (Sheffield Utd.)
		I. R. very good & worth future interest.

Monday & Carm (Charlton) Sec'y reported that the Club would
		part with either of these backs for £2,000.

Saunders, G. E.	(52)	It was reported that this Amateur
		had refused the offer of 30% weekly & had stated
		that the player informed him that he had had an
		offer of £3 from a 3rd Division (Northern) Club. No
		action was taken for the moment.
