Birkenhead Hospital Cup. Decided that Asst. Secy. confer. with L'pool
F. C. official after Lythgoe Cup tie & assist. to select team
for this match on 29th inst.
Jones (Wrexham) (2) Mr. J. Fare gave very good reports of this
player who was only 17, 5'10" & 11st 3. Mr. E. Green agreed to
visit the Wrexham Club with powers to negotiate for the
transfer up to £600 & an exchange with Higham, in
whom they had expressed some interest.(5)
Martin (Swansea) Messrs F. W. Lake & T. Kelly were both of the
opinion that this C. F. would be of little value to us.
Bigg (Crystal Palace) Mr. J. H. Ford was not particularly
impressed with the ability of this O. L.
Walker (Hearts) Asst. Secy. reported that the club had
asked us to make an offer. Decided that we offer £6,000.
Mills (Aberdeen) It was also agreed to offer £4,000 for

Scotch players Mr. Cochrane did not recommend Mr. McGorm,
of Clydebank but was strong in his praise of Miller (I. R.) Partick.
N. Eastern Players Letter read from Mr. E. H. Hoffman recommending
smith (I. R.) Middle Docks South Shields & Bruce (I. L.) of Hebburn Colly.
L'pool Amateur Cup. Confirmation given to the Chairman's action
in granting the use of Goodison Park for this Final on 8th May.
