this gentleman the sum of £28.7.4 from the Programme a/c,
in respect of commissions due for advertisements. This
payment would determine all our obligations.

New Players (268) It was agreed that £4,000 be the maximum
offer for Payne, & that Geldard be valued at £6,000
in dealing with Wolverhampton Wanderers; that we pay
£4,000 in addition for the transfer of Thompson & Morris.
