Wolves Players Discussions between Mr. Oakley of Wol- verhamton Wanderers F. C. & our representatives, were re- ported to have resulted in promise by the former that his Board should consider our request for the transfer of Morris & Thompson to us, having regard to the fact that we might consider the transfer to them of Geldard. Payne (Luton) Mr. E. Green gave his views of this players ability. He thought that with his physical attributes & shooting powers, there were possibilities about him, although he had not done much in the game apart from scoring twice.
