Jones (Stockport) Mr. W. C. Gibbins reported that this player
had appeared at C. H. & playing as a defensive C. H.
had done very well.
Wilkins & Martin Mr. T. Fleetwood gave a very poor report
(Glentoran) of these players, L. H. & R. B. respectively.
Loue (Frickley) Mr. H. R. Pickering did not consider
this C. F. of any interest to us.
Lawton & Toll (Burnley) These players again received excellent
reports on this occasion from Mr. F. W. Lake.
Smith (Dundee) Mr. R. R. Cochrane gave another fairly good
report of this L. H.
Dyer (Crewe) Mr. W. Laine stated that this O. L. was
young, well built & promising, but inclined to be impetuous.
Benefits (207) The question of benefits to Cunliffe &
Leyfield was discussed, & it was agreed that this
item be considered at the end of the current Season. (260)
M. Lindley It was agreed that we offer this
player £4 per week as a full time servant. (212)
B. T. Fair Decided that the Dept. of Iverseas
Trade be given the opportunity to advertise the Fair
during the Season, by the use of a board around the play-
ing space during the intervals of matches.
Donation Two Guineas was granted to the Workmen's
Mission Xmas Fund.
