Wolverhampton Players Mr. T. Fleetwood gave excellent reports of Galley (I. R.),
Clayton (C. F.) & Ashall (O. L.). Secy. stated that Club were not ready to part.
Laidman (Wigan Ath.) Mr. J. Elliott gave a very good report of this I. L.
& recommended that he be seen again. He recommended the right wing
of Burton Town, Jeavons & Bridges.
Bonney (Chorley) Mr. F. W. Lake reported that if this player was only
20, he should be seen again.
Venters (Rangers) Secy. reported that the Club were not willing to
transfer this player (I. L.). Mr. R. R. Cochran gave a poor report of
his play this season.
Shafto (Hexham) It was reported that this O. R. had signed
for Liverpool & letters were read, detailing the progress
of the whole of the business.
Lawton & Toll (Burnley) Mr. W. Laine gave very good reports of these
players. As a stylist, he preferred Toll, but as a future prop-
osition, he recommended Lawton.
Wilkins (Glentoran) Letters read giving this L. H. a very good name.
Jones (Stockport) Secy. Stated that the Club would consider
an offer for this H. B.
Burnley F.C. This Club also requested the transfer of
Leyfield. It was agreed not to part, but to ask them
what their price was for Lawton (C. F.)
W. Stewart (182) It was agreed to grant a further £5
donation to this ex-player.
Donations Two Guineas each were granted to the
Everton Red Triangle Club & to the Central Y. M. C. A.
