Lawton (Burnley) Mr. E. Green stated that this big young C. F. had
won the game for his team with 2 good goals. He had played
very well in the 2nd half & appeared to have big possibilities.
Thompson (Blackburn) Mr. T. Fleetwood gave a poor report of this C. F.
Parker (Marine) Mr. J. Elliott gave a very promising verdict
of this F. B. & was also very impressed by the form of
Burgoyne, L. H of Bacup.
Scotch Players Mr. R. R. Cochrane gave a good report of McKennan
but a moderate opinion of Laird R. B. of East Stirling. It
was agreed that the Chairman enquire of Mr. T. C. Reid
of Partick, as to the possibility of transfer of the former player.
Kirkwood (Plymouth) Messrs W. J. Wallace & F. W. Lake gave promising
reports of this young R. B.
Shafto Letter from Mr. W. Laine, was read re this
player. Decided that a member of the Staff be sent to see
him this week-end.
Briscoe (P. N. E) Secy. reported that the Club might be
prepared to part if an offer were made.
J. Fare It was reported that this employee had
been very ill, & the Doctor's Certificate was read. (214)
Mrs. E. Butler Agreed that this employee have her
wages increased from 20/- per week to 25/- per week.
