Beattie (I. L. Kilmarnock) Mr. H. Hart gave very good reports of these
& Black (Hearts) I. L. S. & thought that the former was the better footballer.
Barron (B. Auckland) He thought nothing of this O. L. but Mr. W. Laine
gave him a good report.
Bridges (Burton) Mr. J. Fare could not recommend this I. L.
who was 17, 5'8", slim & crude.
Shafto (Hexham) Mr. W. Laine again gave a good report.
