G., Watson, Geldard, Hurel, Bell, Miller & Stein. Res. Thomson. Drs. to Ireland Messrs W. C. Cuff, A. Coffey & G. Evans. Dr. to Liverpool Mr. W. C. Gibbins. Woodman & Preece Mr. T. Fleetwood gave a good report of these (Bristol Rovers) players (C. F. & L. B.) but thought the latter too small to be of any use. The former was only 19, 5'8" 10½ st. Taylor (Carlisle) Mr. J. Fare said that this L. B. was very good & in his opinion, a good player. He was 5'8" 11 st., about 24 or 25, very fast & two footed.
