were read.
Practice Match Teams Blues v Whites Monday Augt. 17th.
Blues:- Sagar, Cook, Jones, Britton, White, Mercer,
Gillick, Cunliffe, Dean, Stevenson, Coulter.
Whites:- King, Jackson, Morris, Tunney, Gee, Watson,
Leyfield, Bentham, Bell, Miller, Stein.
Captain & Vice-Captain W. R. Dean was chosen as Captain & W. Cook
Vice-Captain for Season 1936-7.
Hogg (Celtic) Mr. E. Green stated that this R. B. was sturdy
& of medium height. His left foot was not too good & he
did not appear to have quite arrived. He should be
seen again.
Shaw (Airdrie) Mr. H. Hart thought this L. B. worth seeing
again. He was 5' 6" or 7", 11st & 23 years old. His tackling
was good but he headed overmuch. He seemed two footed,
but was reckless at times.
McInnes & Carabine (3rd Lanark) Mr. R. Cochran gave a good report of these
players, who were L. H. & R. B. respectively.
