Shareholder's nominee could be selected, with all good
feeling, to fill the vacancy.
The Chairman ruled that he could not
accept the latter suggestion, as the shareholders had
been given the opportunity to nominate for the vacancy if
they so willed; but they had not exercised their prerogative.
If the suggestion were couched differently & names were
submitted to the Secretary, they would be given every
consideration.
Mr. Denaro agreed to this idea & when this
was put forward to the meeting the following names were
mentioned:-
Mr. W. R. Williams Proposed by Mr. R. Taylor, seconded
by Mr. G. Winfield.
Mr. F. W. Lake Proposed by Mr. R. A. Grattan.
Mr. A. N. Denaro Proposed by Mr. F. Ashcroft,
seconded by Mr. S. Smith.
Mr. Cuff promised that these names would not be
disregarded, when the vacancy was considered.
