Meeting at the Law Association Rooms on Thursday,
11th June, 1936, at 7.30 pm.
It was decided that the Auditor take
control of the admission to the Annual Meeting & that
they be authorized to obtain any necessary assistance.
It was also decided that they despatch
notices of the Meeting & Copies of the Balance Sheet &
Accounts to the Shareholders.
Results Reports were given of the matches:-
v P. N. E. 5-0, v L'pool Res. 1-1, v Derby County Res. 0-5, v Earlstown 3-4.
As a results of the drawn game with L'pool Res. the
respective Chairman had tossed up for the privilege of
holding the L'pool Senior Cup for the first six
months. The Toss had been won by Liverpool F. C.
Green (Torquay) Mr. E. Green & Secy. thought this back
was very promising for his age, but not quite as good
as Jefferson.
Scottish Players Mr. R. R. Cochrane recommended McInnes
L. H. & Carabine R. B. of Third Lanark. Secy. was
instructed to enquire if they would part with the latter.
Halifax Players Mr. E. Cooper gave fairly good reports
of the Halifax Town full-back, Cope & Alsop.
Directorate (143) Secy. reported the receipts of nominations
on behalf of Messrs Thomas Percy, Fred W. Lake, &
W. R. Williams. It was stated that these gentlemen had
expressed their intention to withdraw.
German Tour (142) Decided that bonus be paid to the players
on the £2 for a win basis & that allowances should
be:- Directors 30/- & Players 10/- per day. (147)
Mecca Cafe (142) Letter read from this Company asking
that the sale of sweetmeats should be included in
their contract. It was agreed that this further add-
ition should not be made to the present arrangement. (148)
