Robson, our ex-player. Cheetham (Q. P. R.) Mr. J. H. Ford gave an encouraging report of the & Bowl (Swindon) former but a poor one of the latter. Holley (Barnsley) Mr. F. W. Lake gave further good reports of these & Bell (Tranmere) players. Crawford (Clapton) Mr. W. Laine gave a moderate report of this for- ward who had occupied 3 positions during the match. Smith (Dundee) Mr. R. R. Cochran was very favorable in his remarks on this L. H. Sherborne (Chorley) Mr. E. Cooper was uncertain of this player's ability, due to the bad playing conditions.
