J. C. Holmes Mr. J. Fare reported the signing of this player
on the maximum terms to player & Club, as agreed upon at the
last Meeting.
Bowl (Swindon) Mr. W. J. Wallace again gave an adverse
report upon this I. L.
F. L. match v Huddersfield It was reported that, subject to the result of
the Cup-ties, this match would take place on Jany. 29th.
Notice of Motion Mr. J. Sharp proposed that Mr. Hunter,
Hart be appointed to become Coach to the Player's.
After some discussion, it was agreed to re-consider
this proposal at the next Meeting.
Player's Wages It was agreed that Bentham be increased
to £5 weekly with an extra £1 when in the 1st team.
Other consideration was deferred until next Meeting.
Dean Enquiries from Hearts of Midlothian F. C.
& Stockport County F. C.'s were reported. Agreed that
we were not prepared to part at present.
Smith (Rangers) Reported that the Club were not prepared
to part with this C. F.
Army Recruiting Office Agreed that this office be granted the
free use of our loud-speaker equipment for 5 minutes
at one of our League matches this season.

Players on Transfer Lists read from Stockport County, Brentford,
& Hull City F. C.'s but no action taken.
Copenhagen F. C. The following telegram was received from
this Club:- "On the day of death of your King, accept

instructed to wire suitable message of Thanks.
Mecca Cafe Agreed to consider this at next Meeting.
New Players Secy. instructed to enquire whether Clubs were
prepared to part with Gallagher (Sunderland) & Ashley (Aston Villa).
