A Secretary be considered After a lengthy discussion it was proposed:- That an advertisement be forthwith inserted in the press inviting applications for the position of Secretary. An amendment to the proposition was proposed:- That such an invitation be advertised on the 14th February 1936. Upon a division the proposition was defeated and the amendment being submitted as a proposition was carried. (d) It was resolved that the consideration of the personnel of the office be deferred until the post of Secretary has been filled. The Chairman was deputed to interview Mrs. McIntosh at a convenient date to communicate to her the decision of the Board and to make the necessary arrangements for the investment of the sum of £650 and for the payment out as resolved.
