East Fife Players Mr. W. C. Cuff reported interview with the club, who were not prepared to send Sutherland & McCartney for trials. Walmsley (Rochdale) Messrs A. R. Wade & H. Hart could not recommend this Goalkeeper, who was poor. Harper (Chorley)} Mr. J. Fare gave a fairly good report of this & } amateur G. who was 23rd 4 & 5'10". Shrewsbury Players} He could not specially recommend any of the Shrewsbury players. W. Laine's Report This Scout reported that Ainsley (I. F.) of Sunderland had a good reputation.
