Mr. H. Banks & Dr. C. S. Baxter stated the former was
Mr. T. H. McIntosh very much as usual recently, but that the Secretary had had
4 or 5 days of considerable pains with somewhat of a temperature.
Report re Matches Messrs W. C. Gibbins & A. R. Wade reported on
Wales v Ireland this match. They were favorably impressed by Phillips,
Hopkin (Wales) & G. W. Jones of the Welsh team.
Mills & Armstrong (Aberdeen) Messrs W. C. Cuff & Dr. C. S. Baxter were in
accord in speaking of the poor play in the Scottish F. A. Cup
Semi Final. They agreed that the former was a good player,
but that the C. F. had had a bad day & should be seen again.
McGill (Glenavon) Mr. E. Green stated that this I. L. was originally
a C. H. He was 5'8" & 11st. & did nothing to recommend him.
Burta (Oldham) Mr. J. Fare could not recommend this C. H.
Mutch (M/c United) Mr. H. Hart was not favorably impressed
by this I. F. who had no ball control & was very poor in the air.
Walmsley (Rochdale) Mr. w. Laine gave a very good report of
this goalkeeper.
Scouts The question of appointing a Scout in
Scotland was deferred until next Meeting.
