of £1800. It was agreed to reply that the Board
considered the present penalty of £1400 was quite
sufficient.

Special Training It was agreed that the following players
proceed to Buxton on Sunday next & return to
L'pool on following Sat. March 2nd viz. Sagar,
Bradshaw, Jackson. Cook, Cresswell, Jones, Britton,
Gee, Thomson, White, Mercer, Geldard, Cunliffe,
Dean, Stevenson, Leyfield, Stein with Trainer & Secy.
W. Cresswell The Chairman reported that he had been interviewed
by two Directors of Northampton F.C. who stated that
this player had applied for the position as
Manager to this club. It was agreed that he do
not be released from his engagement with us &
further that if not signed by us he is to remain
on retained league list of players.
