Special Training It was decided to take the following
players to Buxton on Sat. next by 6.25 train &
to stay there until Friday afternoon 25th inst.
Sagar, Cresswell, Cook, Jones, Britton, Gee,
Thomson, Geldard, Cunliffe, Dean, Stevenson,
Coulter, White, Leyfield & Stein.
F.A. Cup 4th Rd. Secy. reported that we had been drawn agst.
Sunderland away in this tie. It was decided to
agree to that club's suggestion that the stand
seats be 5/- for Centre & 4/- for the Ends and all
other prices to be same as for League matches. It
was also agreed that the team travel from Buxton
on the 25th inst. to Darlington & to travel to Sunderland
on morning of match & the travelling arrangements
were made. In the event of a
draw it was agreed to toss with the L'pool F.C.
for choice of the following Wednesday for the
replay.
League Match Secy. reported that this match fixed for
v Liverpool 26th inst. had been postponed on account of above
Cup tie, and it was agreed to fix provisionally
Wed. 30th inst. for new date.
England v It was decided to fix the price for this
Ireland match the same as for 1st League matches & the
Kick off for 3 o'c.
Match at Algiers An invitation was received for us to play
a match at Algiers on 28th March next was not
entertained.
Scottish Scout The question of appointing a representative
in Scotland was discussed, and it was agreed
the Chairman get in touch with Mr. R. Liddell re
the position.
